On Saturday PMMP will have a gig at Caribia Hotel in Turku,but they are not going to be alone the Finnish band Magenta Skycode will share the stage with them,actually Magenta Skycode is the band of Jori Sjöroos who is the composer-producer of our girls.So if you are from Turku or Finland don’t miss the gig

Paula Vesala write music for Anna Abreu

Well we know that Paula is a very talented person who writes a lot of great lyrics for PMMP and for other Finnish artist.The last lyrics that she made was for the younger singer Anna Abreu for the song Letting me go which you can find on her last album Just a pretty face? Paula was helped for this song from DJPP.

And another good fact is that she is also singing in that song,you can see her voice on backgroung,if you are interested in the song you can find it here!

PMMP at Bar Kino

Today and tomorrow PMMP will give a live gig’s at Bar Kino in Pori.So if you are from Finland and from Pori you can check the girls there(if the gig is not already sold out).Hope that we can bring you some pictures from those gigs.

About the collection

Paula posted a new entry in the PMMP journal,so here it is the translation made by Reka:

We have decided to publish a collection with the productions of 2000’s.It’s not like all kind of traditional hit collections, because those mere collection would somehow dilute the material of the band. Now, we however made some sort of compilation around it. Still there were some feeling that sometimes we might release something suitable for a 20-favorite collection. But not just now.

It feels good to release the package of the first PMMP-decade, and then keep on with the sailing. On the forum there have been discussed about some kind of disappointment that the collection does not contain too much of extras. It was really hard to make a decision and where to draw the limit-line, so the entire thing would remain stylish. But it was good! All the booklets have a new look! Uuh … The collection is good for the collectors, who don’t have yet any kind of PMMP-production.

There won’t be any new PMMP stuff this year. There are no plans for the next year either, so you should not really have to wait for a new album. Instead, come to gigs, because the touring will continue probably until the end of July, in selected venues. In other words it’s worth visiting the gigs!
